In 2018, 1.3% of households in Fernhill had no access to heating.

Dominant groups
Analysis of the type of fuels used by households for heating in Fernhill compared to the Concord shows that there was a higher proportion of households using electricity to generate heat, and a higher proportion of households which did not use heating.
Overall 84.0% of households used electricity to generated heat, and 1.3% did not use heating, compared with 76.1% and 0.0% respectively in the Concord.
The major differences between the the types of fuels used for generating heat in Fernhill and the Concord is:
- A larger percentage of households using electricity to generate heat (84.0% compared to 76.1%)
- A larger percentage of households Not stated/included (12.0% compared to 6.4%)
- A smaller percentage of households using wood to generate heat (16.9% compared to 62.2%)
