Dominant groups

Analysis of the field of qualifications of the workforce in Whangarei District Council shows that the three largest fields the population were qualified in were:

  • Engineering and related technologies (3,327 people or 8.9%)
  • Health (3,186 people or 8.5%)
  • Management and commerce (2,790 people or 7.5%)
