Analysis of the household types in Raumati Beach East in 2018 compared to the Paraparaumu North shows that there was a lower proportion of one family households as well as a lower proportion of group households. Overall, 62.4% of total households were one family households, and 1.1% were group households, compared with 69.7% and 1.6% respectively for the Paraparaumu North.
