Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the workforce in Hutt City in 2018 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health care and social assistance (4,845 people or 11.6%)
  • Professional, scientific and technical services (4,404 people or 10.5%)
  • Construction (4,278 people or 10.2%)
