Dominant groups
Analysis of individual income levels in Forbury in 2018 compared to the Dunedin City shows that there was a lower proportion of persons earning a high income (those earning more than $70,000 per annum) as well as a lower proportion of low income persons (those earning less than $15,000 per annum).
Overall, 11.5% of the population earned a high income, and 24.5% earned a low income, compared with 12.8% and 30.0% respectively for the Dunedin City.
The major differences between Forbury's individual incomes and the Dunedin City's individual incomes were:
- A larger percentage of persons who earned $20,001 to $25,000 (13.0% compared to 8.9%)
