Analysis of the weekly housing rental payments of households in Dunedin City compared to Otago Region shows that there was a smaller proportion of households paying high rental payments ($600 per week or more), and a similar proportion of households with low rental payments (less than $100 per week).
Overall, 11.1% of households were paying high rental payments, and 5.9% were paying low payments, compared with 17.3% and 5.5% respectively in Otago Region.
