Analysis of the household types in Momona in 2018 compared to St Kilda South shows that there was a higher proportion of one family households as well as a lower proportion of group households. Overall, 75.1% of total households were one family households, and 1.7% were group households, compared with 54.9% and 1.9% respectively for St Kilda South.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of multi-family households. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 18.5% compared to 33.3% in St Kilda South while the proportion of multi-family households was 1.0% compared to 1.9% in St Kilda South.
The number of households in Momona increased by 60 between 2013 and 2018.
