Dominant groups
Analysis of the household types in Concord in 2018 compared to the St Kilda South shows that there was a higher proportion of one family households as well as a lower proportion of group households. Overall, 76.3% of total households were one family households, and 3.2% were group households, compared with 54.9% and 1.9% respectively for the St Kilda South.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a lower proportion of multi-family households. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 17.7% compared to 33.3% in the St Kilda South while the proportion of multi-family households was 1.1% compared to 1.9% in the St Kilda South.
