Dominant groups
Analysis of household income levels in North East Valley Knox in 2018 compared to the Mosgiel Central shows that there was a larger proportion of high income households (those earning more than $70,000 per annum) and a lower proportion of low income households (those earning less than $30,000 per annum).
Overall, 29.8% of the households earned a high income, and 31.4% were low income households, compared with 28.6% and 34.2% respectively for the Mosgiel Central.
The major differences between the household incomes of North East Valley Knox and the Mosgiel Central were:
