Analysis of car ownership in 2018, indicates 37.2% of households in North East Valley Knox had access to two or more motor vehicles, compared to 38.6% in North East Valley Chingford.

The ability of the population to access services and employment is strongly influenced by access to transport. Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of the households in North East Valley Knox in 2018 compared to North East Valley Chingford shows that 79.3% of the households owned at least one car, while 17.4% did not, compared with 81.0% and 14.3% respectively in North East Valley Chingford.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a similar proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a similar proportion who owned three cars or more.
