Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Porirua City in 2013 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Public administration and safety (2,514 people or 10.8%)
  • Health care and social assistance (2,466 people or 10.6%)
  • Education and training (2,268 people or 9.8%)
